Get there early as you dont get a voting slip unless you arrive in time to see all the bands, and the first band is on at 8. The running order is picked on the night so we could be on as early as 8. Some of the bands in this heat are quite established with large fan bases, so we REALLY need you for this one! If you go to one gig this year - make it THIS one! Remember, vote for the best band and not your mates band, which is slightly contadictory to the above, but hey; Gotta be moral sometimes...

23 Beasts reach the final of battle of the bands once again. Unfortunately we didn't win. That honour went to the Scassa Monakee Synth Quartet. They are a great band and played brilliantly on the night. They fully deserved the prize.

This little venue has to be the best in the north for local bands. The atmosphere is electric and the whole thing is run from the heart and not the wallet. It is basically a converted cellar beneath the Royal Park pub in the student area of Leeds. Bit of a treck from the station, so best bet is get in a taxi and get them to take you straight there.

Our heat in this years Uni Battle of the Band (completely different from the Fibbers run battle of the bands). We got to the final last year, but as always, anything could happen... The line up is in no specific order, as the oreder is randomly picked on the night. Rumour has it that 25% of the final result is now audience voted and the remaining part is panel voted, so we need YOU to come and support us!
